MONTEPULCIANO

Abruzzo, the land of origin of this superb Italian vine variety, is the ideal terroir for producing very high quality fruit and superior wines. Our Montepulciano offers marked fruity aromas on the nose followed by interesting, intense spicy notes coming from a short time spent in large barrels. Well-structured, suave and persistent, it is perfect not only with traditional lamb or braised beef dishes, but also with eastern cuisine and especially sweet and sour dishes.

The Warrior of Capestrano is a symbol of the proud past and traditions of the Abruzzo region; discovered while ploughing the ground of a vineyard, the statue is now housed in the Museo Nazionale d’Abruzzo in Chieti.
