SYRAH

Red currant, blueberry, blackberry, and then prune, liquorice, tobacco, finishing with a spicy note of black pepper: these are the scents that mingle and merge in our Syrah, a wine as intriguing as the land it comes from and from which it allegedly gets its name. In fact, “Syrah” is said to derive from “Siracuse”, the enchanting Sicilian city in whose environs this wine has always been produced. Its ageing in wooden casks for a few months makes it especially encompassing and smooth to the palate. We recommend it as an accompaniment to red meats and ripe cheeses.
