Teatro Latino stops off in Abruzzo

Our journey up and down the peninsula has today led us to discover Montepulciano, an elegant, structured wine offering notes of violet and red berries followed by an extremely agreeable finish of spices and tobacco. It is one of the most important vine varieties in Italian winemaking; for this wine Teatro Latino has chosen the Warrior of Capestrano, an archaeological find unearthed when planting a vineyard and which quickly became one of the region’s much-loved symbols.
